Snowdrops
Another beautiful morning and the temperature rose to a staggering 9°C. Still plenty of puddles and muddy areas in the park.
Holly was her usual bouncy self and couldn't wait to get to the grassy area where we play with her ball. We then headed to the wee pond to do a bit of bird watching ..... just the usual Robins and Tits flying in for a peanut or two. We wandered on and just as we were leaving the walled garden I realised that for the first time ever I had left my back pack by the pond. We made our way back and there was my pack pack exactly where I laid left it.
Any would be thief would be very disappointed ..... camera round my neck, phone in my zip pocket, purse in a bag in the car boot and the bird seed in a plastic bag in my hand. Items on offer were poo bags, dog treats, gloves, a bottle of water and a couple of spare batteries.
As we neared the park exit I saw some clumps of Snowdrops in the woodland beside the former gate keeper's cottage. Holly tied to the fence I made my way through the jungle of twiggy branches to find my blip.
