Fresh, green Hawrhorn leaves

There must be thousands of daffodil leaves in Pollok but not even a bud in sight.
There are some buds appearing on the trees but only this Hawthorn has some new leaves ..... a fabulous colour of green.

We have been spoilt recently with a few lovely sunny days with the best weather being in the morning. Once the sun disappears in the middle of the afternoon the temperature drops quite significantly.
