Baptistery window
Day four of our trip is a long drive back to Shropshire through lashing rain. We stopped off in Coventry to visit the John Piper/Patrick Reyntiens windows at the new cathedral. I've been anticipating this visit for several years and it fully met my expectations. I took dozens of images but have gone for the perhaps familiar view of the massive 26 metre high Baptistery window. Composed of 198 coloured glass panels, each of which is made of dozens of glass pieces, it took two years to design and three years to make and install.
