Offham escarpment

Day three of our road trip. Today we met up with friends from the first village we lived at in Sussex and had a very windy walk over Blackcap and the Offham escarpment on the South Downs. This was one of my favourite walks with Alfie when we would think nothing of a ten mile stroll. More friends joined us for a very nice lunch at the Half Moon in Plumpton. Tonight Mrs L is going to a meeting of her old book club.
