Furniture apparently

It’s our 29th wedding anniversary today - apparently we’re supposed to gift furniture for this one. Ha! Well, we didn’t. We will need to buy some for the new house though, but just not yet.

Walked the dogs, did a post office trip and went to work. Did a quick cold lake swim on the way back. It was 3 degrees and weirdly wonderful.

And this evening, Elbows and I went to the cinema, as a relaxed way of celebrating. We chose to see ‘The Brutalist’, which is over 3 hours long with an interval as well.
Only 5 in the cinema!

We should have googled it before we went, as I think both of us were expecting something different. But it was a good film. Raw and difficult in places but still a really good film. I’m glad I’ve seen it, for what I learnt.

It was snowing 29 years ago today.
