Tiny Tuesday - All the Same

Thanks to Loisbiz for hosting the TT challenge this month and providing the optional theme of "all the same".  I admit that this may not be the most creative interpretation but the day kind of got away from me before I picked up a camera ... So, a munch of American quarters scattered on a black backdrop.  I kinda like it, actually.

I spent much of the day getting myself organized for my upcoming trip.  I always have some angst before a photography trip - the dilemma of lenses mostly, but also ball-head vs gimble-head, do I have enough batteries and chargers, tripod collars.  Oh, and yes, clothes...  Before I went to South Africa last year I bought 2 additional dual-slot battery chargers since the Nikon Z cameras really do chew up batteries.  And of course, when I first looked for them today, I couldn't find them in any of the usual spots.  Of course, eventually they turned up as I knew they would.  Happily, the weather for the first part of the trip now looks mostly all favorable - so that's one in the "win" column.  I had to go online and register to visit the military base where nephew and family are living - a quick background check and I am now all good to go.  

I set up a small hurdle for Jax today using painter's tape stretched across the living room.  It all went well until he caught the tape on his rear leg which spooked him a bit.  We'll keep working on it as I think some agility work would be good for him.

I confirmed a bunch of dates for dog events this year - definitely looking forward to that, as well as the equine events.  Amazingly, I only have one conflict of dates where there are both horse and dog events the same weekend.  

Tomorrow morning I'm meeting up with my birder friends for a walk which I'm really looking forward to!
