Daisy had her first treatment for heart worms today. Poor girl. The injection site is very painful. She is very restless and wants one of us touching her. She’s had her aspirin and will get a pain pill later this evening. Heart worm prevention is an absolute must for Southern dogs but so many owners don’t do it. She is at risk from the treatment but we have to try.
We got a little done in the yard despite 2 round trips to the vet, almost 40 miles away one way.
