Resting awhile.

Today is the anniversary of our wedding. A fair number of years ago we surprised many by marrying while still students at Otago University. I have never had cause to regret binding my life to S. We had a quiet day, partly with Mr H and Young L. Mostly on our own. 

Late afternoon I went for a longish walk on which I took the photo of s Myna which is today's extra. Summer has returned and I sat at the table in the Outside room with my camera hoping that the thrush which is a daily visitor would grace me with its presence.

After doing a sweep of the grassed area it hopped/flew up onto the bricks waiting to be used to surround a garden bed which will take some of the plants currently in a pot awaiting the new garden bed.
