A frosty start but once the sun appeared it was pleasant outside. I put a load of clothes through the washer, sorted some recycling and bagged a lot of twigs that had blown off trees in last week’s storm. The paths around the house are now safer to walk along.

I was meeting friends at the garden centre for coffee this afternoon. One of my favourite places for photographing snowdrops is nearby so I wandered that way first. These are about shoulder height on a bank by the track to Skelghyll Wood.
