Wednesday: Winter Blossom of …

… Daphne odora “Perfume Princess Pink”, which I blipped at the beginning of this month

The flowers have started opening, they smell sweet and delicious, unfortunately the mild weather means there are lots of insects around and something has been eating the leaves of this plant :-(

Our washing basket was very full, we’ve had so many wet days so I did 2 loads of washing, everything went out for a few hours and is now finishing off indoors with the heating on.

MrD had a busy day of deliveries and was home by 4pm, days are lengthening now and it’s still light at 5pm with some blue sky and pink clouds :-)

Watched a few more episode of “All Creatures Great and Small”
