Thursday: There Was Blue Sky …

… then late afternoon these big black clouds started appearing, rain forecast for this evening :-(

Woke up this morning feeling full of cold and very creaky, had a very slow start and a lazy day - ventured outdoors to refill the bird feeders and to look at the plants in the plastic boxes and in the greenhouse, everything growing well. Temperature barely above zero and very cold wind.

Our neighbours across the road have had a delivery of wood chip from our tree surgeon friend, MrD had a couple of buckets of the wood chip to spread under the bird feeders, handy when there’s been so much rain. 

MrD then went off on his motorbike into the mountains and enjoyed his first motorbike outing of 2025 :-)
