Survived and arrived!

A very very long journey but we arrived in Nelson last night and had a wander on the beach this morning before collecting the hired car - as you can see the weather has been thoughtfully Irish!  (Tanya, we waved!) We got soaked! A drive over the huge and windy Takaka Hill in thick fog and we are now ensconced in Paton's Rock, right by the sea and it has just stopped raining! We've met up with Joe, so lovely to give him and give him a massive hug, and will be seeing Esme on Saturday. Pretty wafty now and it must be nearly bedtime, catch up soon.
