Inspection

My day started with a challenge. Bin day and already slightly behind schedule, Bob (the beetle) displayed a 'no key in the vehicle, start manually' message after i had started the engine and then killed the engine.  Assuming it was a battery issue, I got the spare.  Same thing happened.   I got the keys to Hank and went on my way.

MrRiu started Bob with no issues later in the day and called me to tell me that the problem was caused by me leaving the radio and AC in the on position when I switched off.  I switched off to his monologue with my colleague saying 'breathe' when I eventually hung up. 

 Satisfied that we have done everything we can, in the time we had, parkrun co event-director Bob and I updated the rest of our team on progress.  I checked the field during my  lunch break today and we will meet the parks team leader there on Friday.  

I hadn't realised quite how muddy my shoes were and ended up having to take them off and wash them when I got back to the office, only after leaving a trail of dried mud around my desk which I had to clear up too.
