snowdrops

Checking out what is happening in the garden at lunchtime and I find that it's snowdrop time.

The parkrun risk assessment was returned and I was asked to add that we'd use a marshal on a turnaround point that we have.  It is a section  of the current course  and there has never been any incident there or anywhere near there. The reasoning, for our event, makes little sense; people will not run beyond it because they would end up in the river.  It will just mean that we will have to find a volunteer to stand there, potentially at the expense of one that we could really make better use of elsewhere.

It's not negotiable though.

Paid employment, too, continues to be a challenge.
