Horse Park

Totally by accident got caught up in the Common Riding in Lauder. All the way across the Borders, towns enjoy an Annual Pageant day known variously as Riding the Marches, Common Riding, etc. the central part is rooted in the tradition of riding round the boundaries of the parish, and marking various points with a service, before coming in to town for a ceremony. Followed, most certainly by a stirrup cup or two in the local hostelry.
