Loose ends

I was back at my GP today for a check-up.  Quite a bit of prodding and a fair bit of ouching, with the advice that it might take another month to be actually healed. :-(  They also referred me to a clinic in town for some extra checks.

The sun was strong at lunchtime and I had a nice time sitting outside, and little R and little O came to say hello, but the magic banana was not for rubbing and chewing today.  Overhead was a London to Vancouver flight, and even my big lens on the baby Nikon wasn't really enough for 32,000ft.  I liked the detail in the contrail though.  Mum and Dad then stopped by for a little bit of map advice, before they headed off to wrangle Boy Wonder at school bell time.

I have a plan for voltmeters, following some careful measuring and eBaying, but the garage workbench isn't really accessible until I can move all the heavy things.  I test fitted my idea and it looks like it'll work well though.  So I came back in, got warm, and ripped it up on my Rickenbacker for a while.
