Floating Trade, Upper Upnor
It was a gloriously sunny day today, if on the cold side - gloves were required for our morning run. As it approached midday we decided to head over to Upper Upnor for a drink at the Tudor Rose pub. The landlady recognised us and greeted us with a smile and some cheery chat, she was also happy to see the sun after so much grey weather over the past week or tow. Suitably refreshed we headed down to the bottom of the cobbled High Street to see the Medway as it flowed past at high tide. Just as we arrived this huge tanker glided past so I felt I just had to capture its serene transit along the river for the main image. The extra is my brother's (BRIANW) alternative image of the same stretch of river. I really like how we can go to the same place yet see quite different compositions.
