Seeing And Not Seeing The Light, Maidstone

Another grey pall had descended today so we only headed out for some essential food shopping. However, just as we were about to head back home the sun suddenly made an appearance and we decided to make a quick detour into town to try and capture some images.
Today's 'theme' ending up morphing into both seeing and not seeing the light. The main image is mine and is of this very eclectic window shop display which especially appealed to me for the colourful neon eyes, the reflections in the glass and the chap on the right hand of the image peering over his glasses.
The extra is my brother's of this ex-streetlamp, now leaning at an askance angle and wrapped in warning tape, which is no longer able to emit any light at all but he thought this was made up for by the colours from a shop in the background being highlighted by the afternoon sun.
