If you can't beat them...

Gonk.

At our mini blip meet Kaybee presented Clickychick with a couple of things he had turned.  This Gonk is one of them.  I haven't done it justice but it was a quick shot at the end of a hectic day.

We left for the drive back to Cumbria soon after Kat had left for work.  Fortunately the run was trouble free in clear sunshine.  We arrived home with time for an hour or so rest before we were off down to Kendal.  I had an appointment to follow up the treatment of the anomaly found in my right eye after the cataract op.

The first part of the visit ran well, that was testing the yes and a scan of the right eye.  I suspected everything would be fine as I could tell the sight had improved.  As she ushered me out to wait to see the optometrist the nurse apologised that there would be a wait as " the optometrist is running behind".  She wasn't joking there were four others ahead of me in the queue.  At around 10 minutes each this was definitely a wait.

When I eventually got to see him he told me the eye was healed and explained what had happened was basically the same thing as happens when you are bruised, only in the eye it causes a gap between the layers.  However if treatment is stopped too soon it can reoccur.   So I was discharged with yet more of the drops I have been using.  This time instead of two different ones 4 times a day it was one sort four times a day for a month and the other twice a day for a fortnight.

I was the last patient to leave the building and many of the staff had been getting their coats and leaving before me.  The result was we got home quite late so after a meal I just grabbed something to blip.
