A trip to see the Neurologist today to see if he could shed light on Richard’s arm, neck and shoulder weakness. The MRI showed no problems with the spinal cord. Further tests required. He does have low bone density and it has been identified that his vitamin D levels are very low. He should have been taking a supplement since he started dialysis but this had slipped through the net and not been prescribed. Low vitamin D can lead to muscle weakness. So it will be interesting to see if taking thee supplements help.
