Wheat for the Sky

Apologies for the corny title. You wouldn't barley've how many puns like this I've got. You'd be amaized. Have to confess I'm not entirely sure what this field of food stuff is but it seems to be ripening nicely following the recent hot weather. In case you were wondering, this picture hasn't been cropped.

Geek notes : This was taken with a point and shoot using fill flash. The shutter speed is 1/800. Lot's of you will be shrugging your shoulders and saying 'So what ?'. DSLR users will be saying 'Shucks, that's so much quicker than my measley 1/250 flash sync'.
