Waiting For A Lull

Sunsets continue, so why not go with it? Today's temps were well above freezing again, but windy with it, although by the time I took this the wind had died down. Consequently pools of meltwater had opened up on the lake ice.

I hoped the water was just on the surface of the ice and stayed away from the edge just in case. I tried to position myself to get a few clouds reflecting in the water. Inevitably, just as I wanted to take a photo, a breeze broke the glassy reflection and it was a balancing act waiting for a lull before I lost the sun.
