Street Art at its Best

I have absolutely no idea why this Big Boy mascot is standing on a street corner in Palo Alto, but it looked blip-worthy to me. I seem to remember the original guy hefting a large hamburger, but maybe there were multiple incarnations. I read that there are still several Big Boy restaurants in operation, including one in Thailand. At any rate, here he is, just the sort of thing I would put in my front yard if I were lucky enough to somehow acquire it.

We are in Palo Alto for a nice bowl of ramen, a medical appointment, and coffee with Turkish pastries, in that order. I also ordered a MacMini computer to begin the process of upgrading/streamlining my ancient system. Stay tuned for lots of swearing and throwing of things as I migrate all my files and learn new software and operating systems. It will be awhile before it arrives, so hopefully I can prepare somehow.
