Out and about

I finished the report I've been working on all week (and some of last) this morning -. 40 pages. Just need to read through to check for any typos and make final edits. It meant I could head out and about. Firstly to Farnham for another session at the dentist. An hour of fillings, but they were superficial or in teeth that had been root filled, so my mouth did not have to be numbed. And then on to Frimley to collect my wife from the Eye clinic, our daughter having dropped her off earlier. The photo was taken from one of the corridors where I was waiting for her to finish being seen. I thought it was an odd place to position a sign warning of lowflying helicopters and the risk of downdraft, as it seemed to me you would feel any downward rush of air soon enough, quite apart from hearing the clatter of the chopper overhead. But it served as something to muse on whilst I waited.
