Drumming this morning, quite an intense session to start with. After the break, something completely different - one of our number, a magic enthusiast, performed a few magic tricks. It was entertaining and hilarious, a mix of stand-up comedy and magic really. A bit more drumming before joining some of the drummers for a coffee. On the way home I spotted the first snowdrops I've seen this year. Unfortunately they were on a steep bank by the river, and I couldn't get close enough for a decent shot.There were snowdrops in our garden last year, but this year they're noticeable by their absence.

In the evening I walked back into Holmfirth for Soul Choir, the first time I've been since before Christmas - it's now at a different venue on a different evening. Next week I shall have to choose between choir and jazz...
