HIGH TEA--UP ON THE ROOF !

I enjoyed an afternoon snack in the Rooftop Restaurant of the Varsity Hotel, near Quayside, which overlooks the city of Cambridge in all directions. This is 6 floors up but not for those with vertigo as the side panels are glass. I shall go again when my daughter visits as she wants to try out the spa there, so I thought I'd have a look round first and find where everythng was located. As I waited to go in the lift, a family who were staying there advised me to be wary as the doors close quickly. The warning came too late and as I had one foot through the doors, they closed and banged onto my head ! Luckily no damage was done but I shall make a point of letting them know. Maybe the sensors aren't working.
