Pigeon Ground
To Surry Hills for brunch - maybe the state tourism people are on the money promoting our ‘morning culture’ - and a midday screening of No Other Land, a Palestinian-Israeli doco about the expulsion of Palestinian villagers from their land, in Paramount Picture’s restored theatrette. In between there was a wander around the city’s former film precinct, now reduced to the art deco Twentieth Century Fox building and the Hollywood Hotel.
I only realised when I looked at the thumbnail that the public art at Newtown station incorporates the station name.
Not really silly, but tagging it in memory of Admirer.
