Cardoons

I cooked some cardoons tonight, courtesy of Christine at the front-door. She grew them in her garden. They're not exactly an easy thing to cook, and you don't seem to have much left after you've peeled them, but the stuff you eat in the process of peeling is tasty. Apparently they're a relative of the thistle!

I went for a run up Turnhouse after work, that's the first time I've done that one in a while.
