I've got to blip! I've got to fix my bike! What can I do?

I changed my brake pads tonight - the orange bit. It's a fiddly operation. The hardest part is getting the pistons reset - and that's the part that Mr Zinn missed out in his famous mountain bike maintainance manual. Still it's done now and I'm ready for a day out tomorrow.

How long will the crazy torrential rain carry on?! Hopefully not tomorrow.
