... Mount Etna!

We drove to Sapienza Refuge @ 1910m and then took cableway up to 2500m where she showed only for a minute from behind thick clouds! How lucky we were to see her even if only for one minute :)

Some people then take a drive with special terrain vehicles up to 2920m or take a walk to the designated crater area. We didn't as my mum got a bit scarred and we were not fully and appropriately dressed, anyway here is the proof we made it to the cosmic land (as Helena described), where is just really cosmic, felt almost like walking on the moon :)

Tomorrow another day exploring in much closer Palermo (hope lil Al won't be sick in the car as he did today on himself and me!)
