Beaks in the sun ... feet on the ice

I don't think the ice is particularly thick and there is a layer of water just making the reflections even better.

Rouken Glen is always busy, particularly at the weekend .... dozens of dogs, toddlers, walkers, buggy pushers and the like.

By the time I was on my way home the sun had almost disappeared and with it any warmth that we had enjoyed.
