What do you mean, you’re leaving?

Jax managed to look quite despondent for this briefest of moments. Actually he was thrilled to ride to the airport (2 hours round trip) when Hubs dropped me off. He’s very calm in the cat and always enjoys it.

My flight left Newark right in time and landed in Dallas about 45 minutes early, making my already long layover even longer. Better than racing through the airport though. My next flight boards in about 90 minutes and it’s a short hop then to Ft Hood. Long day of travel.

Now that I am enroute, my anxiety level is better. I hate that I get so stressed before trips now - I never used to give it all a second thought. Age may provide wisdom but it can also be very irksome.
