That time of year again

After a lounge around reading papers, I took myself off to assist the work party. Luckily most of the work had been accomplished but I joined in with the chin stroking. And while two of the new guys were being instructed in how to fire up the Lister on the workboat I took a video which may yet find itself onto our youTube channel. There’s excitement.
Then I was able to set to on my own boat, getting that stern gland off, and then managing to do the same with the prop. Not a simple thing as there’s a very neat rope cutter installed behind the prop which must be dismantled first. And not only will it cut ropes. It’s pretty effective with fingers too. 
What news? It’s all America! The BBC news channel just runs non-stop plane crashes in the US. Trump knows who’s to blame. At root, probably foreigners, so he’s slapping 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada. Unreal. Hey, it’s your own people that’ll be paying extra, Mr President. Apparently we’ll be next, but as we only make whisky we’ll just have more to drink here. That’s how it works isn’t it?
