Queen of the Night Orchid Cactus

As predicted tonight was the night for the blooming of the first orchid cactus flower of the season. This happens every February but I still haven't lost my sense of wonder for them. Photos don't convey their exoticism so I ask that you believe me. Then there's the scent that can fill any void. Tomorrow morning it will be totally spent, drooping from its stem, having had its night of glory.

I've added a couple of extras - a rear view and a slightly frontal one so you can see its amazing stigma, anthers and stamens.
