Poppy Seed Head

A few days ago this was a beautiful dusky pink Poppy. Today, bereft of petals, it is still interesting.

I shot this pic in the garden after getting back from school. It has been another cold unsummer-like day and everyone at work wished we had broken up for the summer hols like everyone else in the country seems to have.
