Sunday

Nick and Bertie were very wet when they returned from their morning walk but a good towelling down did the trick (for Bertie). Gradually the day improved and by the afternoon the sun was shining beautifully although the temperature was a bit chilly.
Neighbour John, a retired plumbing and heating engineer, came to replace joints in our water system that had started weeping. It’s great to have this problem fixed.
I took my blip when Bertie and I were wandering through the woods during the afternoon. Something had taken his attention and shortly after this he took off after a smell with me in hot pursuit. He was on his long extending lead and I was very relieved when he lost the scent.
