simonsblips

Sabbath once again.

January has flown by, the day is now trying to catch up with the night. Snowdrops or “Fair-maids of February” are a significant feature of how much daylight they are exposed to, the little “nod” in my blip were found in one of the small orchards on our meander through the Portledge estate towards Peppercombe beach.
The pile of rubbish in my collage is a common sight on our verges and roadside pull ins. I have always been astonished by how much rubbish there is littering our countryside in general. We seem to concentrate on our beaches and coastal areas but I think the issue is much deeper than the oceans.
Dippy enjoyed splashing in and out of the streams and gullies pulling sticks out and generally frolicking around in the freedom of the traffic free environment. When we arrived at the beach he was extremely hesitant to go any further, I soon realised that the booming waves as they hit the rocky beach was the reason for his hesitance. On our travels we only saw three other people and one distant relative of Dippys, she was 10 years old and definitely not a fan of a hyperactive puppy!
Zzzzzzz
