Sunlight and shadows

Another Lily today - and of course these flowers tend to be a fall back when I’ve no other inspiration! 

One thing that’s good about being away for the whole of December and January, is that we’ve come back to having sun shining in through our windows rather than being in the ‘twilight zone’ of winter in a north facing hill - hence sunlight and shadows on my lily here. 

It’s been a very quiet day with just a visit to G’s mum - we’ve left it a few days in case we’d picked up some bug or other on our travels. I’ve still got my cough, but it doesn’t appear to be contagious - just something I seem to end up with every winter. 

But for that, we’ve binge-watched ‘The Traitors’ - it’s been quite difficult to avoid the final outcome, so we thought we’d better get to the final episode as soon as possible!
