Making bacon!

Along with my cheese making kit, was an offer of a free bacon making mix if I sent them a photo of my cheese. I sent the picture of my Cheshire, and by return received a little packet with salt, cure and smoke!
Rob decided he would like to be in charge of this, so we got a nice little piece of pork loin and he applied the magic powder. With repeated rubbing and turning it should be ready to cure in a week….fingers crossed!
