Jolly - holibobs // day 1

Bit of an early start to the day, alarms set & we were up and on our way by 5:30am.

We had a fab journey over to Devon, and we were on the beach in Dawlish shortly after 11am

After a quick bite to eat, we took walk along the beach, & up the cliff, round the shops & then plonked down on the beach for a while, just watching the world go by!

A little drive over to our home for the week in mortonhampstead this afternoon, a lovely apartment, with views out across the Moor from the lounge window.. Beautiful!

After settling in, & scoffing tea, we went for a little explore of the village, we found footpaths that took us to the back of beyond, rolling hills, stunning views, little streams... And an amazing quietness that we don't ever get much of... Tis rather special!
