Day 2 // Canonteign falls

We woke up in the clouds this morning, but that didn't stop us heading out & enjoying this amazing place!

Wound our way round some crazy narrow & bendy roads, and ended up at Canonteign falls, which was stunning!

We took the path that went right up to the top, it zigzagged up the hill, across the falls, & up some (90!!) old Victorian steps.
Just a beautiful, amazing place to be! Really peaceful!

This was the view out from the top at the view point, the photo doesn't do it justice, & I should think on a clear day it's even more fabulous too!

After making our way back down & back to the car, we headed to a Carvary pub we'd spotted earlier in Bovey Tracey.... Well, would have been rude not to try it out! :)

A mooch round Newton Abbot this arvo before heading for home (via the bakery 2 doors down) for a takeaway cream tea... Like you do! :)
