The lions wear Prada
Another late night/early morning. It was well after 1 before I crawled into bed and still awakr before 6..
Did some Apex admin, new job advertised yesterday, and some personal stuff. Managed to make a stupid mistake which I hope doesn't backfire. I should have realised - there were a lot of 'wasn't like this last time'. Well, time will tell.
After the girls had finished Mandarin lessons we headed to KLCC. First stop was a Lion Dance outside Sephora. It was noisy but we managed to get to the front and saw most of it. Then up to Din Tai Fung for lunch before a rake round Kunikinya, the Japanese bookshop. It's weird here, all books are wrapped up tight in plastic so you can't check them to see if it's what you want but i did manage t get #1 son the book on Malaysian birds. Then it was back down to the Centre Court to see the CNY decorations and the non fish.
I wanted to go outside to see the lake and the fountains but we lasted about 2 minutes. It was too hot for Olivia. It was hot today, 34, but always seems hotter at KLCC. Must be something to do with the concrete and the buildings. When we came in it was to hear another Lion Dance ( altogether we heard about 5 today). This time it was for good fortune for Prada and we got right up close thanks to the security, but it was so loud. None of us could hear afterwards.
The usual wheek round M&S then out the front to see more fountains and get the iconic view, which was difficult as there so many tourists. Finally a Grab home and back by 5.
The girls had an hour at the play park and I talked to #1 son, then it rained.
I stayed for dinner, though again no sign of WH. Home I watched more SW and had a brief WA chat with S.
I have some accounts to do tomorrow and fingers to cross.
