Archimedes principle

This little chap had a wonderful time splashing about in the bird bath this afternoon, displacing lots of water in the process. 

He looked somewhat bedgraggled afterwards, but had obviously enjoyed himself enormously, unaware that his antics had also provided an enjoyable interlude for the secret photographer lurking at the kitchen sink.
