'Does Anyone Remember'..........????

these water-pumps???
I do....! as a child there was one at our village crossroad.....
and I'm told by my Mam that I would refuse to pass by without stopping for a drink from it...
so she always had to carry a little mug in her shopping bag to keep me happy!!
Alas....that pump is no longer...
But...doesn't this one look good!!
Myself and my friend Daisy Days had a day out yesterday.......
I managed to escape for a few hours with thanks to S and B for looking after the Nanny!!....My Mam was well enough for me to go for awhile and we weren't too far away.....
We had a great afternoon out.....we dodged the rain (thundery downpours and hail events).....headed to Kildare town.....wandered around the shop at the Japanese Gardens and Stud.....decided against walking the gardens in case of rain....
we drove on a little further and found this place......Kildare Farm Shop and Open Animal Farm........well it's a gem!!!
And I would advise anyone down our way in Kildare to visit.....!
The shop is amazing....selling all kinds of fresh meat at ridiculously cheap prices and also sells all you would need for parties or catering for a large crowd...
We walked around the farm and believe me it was difficult to pick a Blip picture...
all the animals are so cute....alpacas ....I'd never seen them before...
two ostrich...Fluffy and Duster....Duster had laid two eggs which we could touch but not lift....they were huge and looked like porcelain...not eggs at all...!
I decided to Blip the water pump as it's an unusual thing to see nowadays!!!!

It was lovely to get away for a few hours....thanks T....we even had time to have our tea in Kildare town on the way home!!!
