'Good Manners'............!

This is Mel begging from S as she has her dinner......!
She has become very 'good mannered' and now always offers her paw and waits politely when she's begging....
I generally ignore her when I'm eating but after awhile I get just a light tip of a paw on my leg or my elbow...almost as if to say......excuse me, but have you forgotten me down here!
She is settling down well now......still a little boisterous but in the last week or so has become a 'guard dog'......as in she is recognising who is regularly around and who might be a stranger..... and is reacting with a mighty bark if she doesn't recognise someone....a very loud scary bark it is too...
Of course Kitty Boy pays no heed......just glares down from the wall at her...as much as to say..."what's the matter with you now D.O.G"???

Well boy, did we get the rain that was forecast...all last night.....most of the day and again tonight......it's really strange now after such a long dry spell......
no harm I suppose just so long as it remembers to stop again!!!!
