Musing of a Lady

It's Wednesday. The only day during the week, now, that Little Man will be home, and the only day we'll be able to go to Woerden by bus together. The bus schedule through Driebruggen isn't convenient when using the public transport system whilst Little Man is in nursery. Only a few buses run each day and the timing makes it impossible to get back before I need to collect Little Man at midday.

Today has been good, just busy. We went to Woerden this morning to get the usual things that I can't or won't order online (nappies, toilet paper, etc) and then we came home. We had a drink and a snack at the café at the Hema (a Dutch department store), as is our normal, now.

The weather has been lovely today, so I let Little Man play outside for quite a while. He loved really that. He's like me, he gets restless being stuck indoors for too long and wants to get out. If its raining or very cold, I won't let him out. My restlessness comes in more with being in a certain area without the opportunities to explore.

A family friend, Gijs, came by to fix the diesel heater, which hasn't worked until now. I'm hoping it will take the edge off the cold first thing in the morning when I come downstairs to start the fire, especially on nursery school days, when we need to be up early.

There's no life group tonight. The leaders decided to cancel it. Life group is the weekly meeting where the church members can meet together and talk about verious topics that were talked about on Sunday.
