View from work (Day 3558)

Work today was towards Stromness. The first job was dealing with a bath which was very slow to drain. I was fairly sure that the blockage was in the steel waste pipe. Before chopping into the pipe, I made the sensible decision to go to town and pick up couplings to reconnect the pipe after I had unblocked it. Back at the job I chopped out a section of the pipe and was able to drag out a mat of hair and chunks of rust from the rest of the waste pipe. I joined it all back up and the bath was draining much better. I'll be back to the job tomorrow to clear the pipe properly with a new bit of equipment which arrived too late for me to use today.
Next on the list was a visit to a customer in Stromness to discuss replacing a bath, which is a far more involved process than he had thought. It is another job which will be sometime in the future.
Back home to get Sigyn out for a wander, and after lunch a fruitless visit to a customer who wasn't home.
It seems my beautiful wife has haad a very busy day moving horses around for a friend.
