A trip to the seaside

It was my oldest daughter's birthday today. 46 years ago in Dartford, Kent, there was snow on the ground when she made an early entry into the world -  4 weeks early! Today it was a crisp, sunny day and actually quite warm in the sun. So we headed off from Chobham to West Wittering whilst she and her partner, and her beloved dog, Kanji, journeyed from Brighton. Brighton has a pebble beach so it was a treat for Kanji to run around on the sand and hide in the dunes. There is a very nice beach café at West Wittering where we had lunch before heading back to our respective homes having spent a very pleasant few hours beside the sea.
