Desperately seeking

Spring Is Near

I've been having good mornings this week which is unusual for me and I was glad to tell my church homegroup this morning that I was feeling something good was happening. They are a caring bunch of ladies and are so happy for me.

We had a usual threesome trip to a garden centre this afternoon. We had our "free" coffee at Houghton Hall. Primula and hellebores are the plants of the moment but I preferred the look of the buds on the camelia. I take the Sony bridge with me but I really miss not taking the Canon and a macro lens out. We push our camera bags around in a trolley so I'm just being stupid not taking the heavier, better kit.

This evening I had a choir practice. We were so encouraged by the comments we got at Christmas, we are doing one service a month and this Sunday is special as one of our church families is bringing their baby for baptism. I have finally got it tonight about reading music for Alto! The Christmas carols I knew too well by their tunes and found it hard to sing in alto.

We had another trip out to see the progress at the lodge. Still chaos, I'm glad we aren't living there! However, things are moving on, the worktops are fitted and the oven is in.
