Sundial

The sundial is telling the right time so long as you add the extra hour for France. I had to walk up to the Mairie for a meeting with the local association that organises charitable activity. The new vicar is keen for the local British community to become more involved in their activities. The only problem is that charitable activity and the work of this particular Association are highly regulated and there are several impediments to us getting involved. However, we discussed ways of getting round some of the administrative restrictions. We had our match this morning which we lost. I was a little frustrated in that I had an opportunity to beat a higher ranked player than me having won the second set 6-1. However my opponent regrouped and won the super tiebreak. We also lost the doubles in a similar fashion. I was put in charge of cooking the pork steaks and we had a very convivial meal together after the match.
